1. About thanetpad

thanetpad is a financial education organisation operating from 186 Nimmanhaemin Road, Suthep, Mueang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand. We offer structured, tutor-led courses for adults aged 40 and older who wish to deepen their understanding of personal and household finances. We do not provide regulated financial advice, and nothing in our programmes constitutes a recommendation to buy or sell any specific financial product.

2. Using Our Website

2.1 Permitted Use

You may use the thanetpad website for lawful personal purposes — to learn about our programmes, make an enquiry, or access publicly available materials. You agree not to use the website in any way that is unlawful, that interferes with its operation, or that harms other users or thanetpad.

2.2 Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available at all times, but we do not warrant uninterrupted access. The site may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss arising from temporary unavailability.

2.3 Accuracy of Information

The content on our website is provided for general informational purposes. While we take care to keep it accurate, we make no warranty that all information is complete, current, or free from error. Course fees, schedules, and availability are subject to change and are confirmed at the point of enrolment.

3. Enrolment in Our Programmes

3.1 Eligibility

Our courses are designed for adults. Participants should be 18 or older. Certain courses specify a recommended background — for example, the Mid-Life Investment Review is described as intermediate-level and assumes some familiarity with basic financial concepts. We will discuss suitability with you before enrolment if you are uncertain.

3.2 Enrolment Confirmation

An enrolment is confirmed only when thanetpad sends written confirmation and payment has been received in full. Until that point, a place is not reserved for you. For programmes with limited cohort sizes — particularly the Integrated Wealth Stewardship Program (maximum six learners) — we strongly encourage early enquiry.

3.3 Course Fees

Fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of the materials described in each course overview. Payment terms and accepted methods will be provided during the enrolment process. Course fees do not include accommodation or travel to in-person gatherings.

3.4 Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances change, and we aim to be fair and considerate in how we handle cancellations.

• More than 30 days before the programme start date: Full refund, less a ฿500 administrative processing charge.
• 15 to 30 days before the start date: 50% refund of the course fee.
• Fewer than 15 days before the start date: No refund is available, but we may offer a transfer to the next available cohort at our discretion.
• After the programme has begun: No refund is available for sessions already delivered. If withdrawal is necessary due to a serious medical or personal emergency, please contact us to discuss the circumstances individually.

Refunds are processed within 14 working days via the original payment method.

3.5 Programme Changes by thanetpad

thanetpad reserves the right to reschedule, substitute a faculty member, or adjust programme content where this is necessary for reasons of quality or circumstances beyond our control. We will notify enrolled participants promptly. If a programme is cancelled by thanetpad in its entirety, a full refund will be issued.

4. Intellectual Property

All materials provided during a thanetpad programme — including workbooks, templates, slides, and written guides — remain the intellectual property of thanetpad and the contributing faculty unless stated otherwise. Participants receive a personal licence to use these materials for their own non-commercial learning purposes. Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used in any commercial context without prior written consent from thanetpad.

The website and its content are similarly protected by copyright. You may print or save individual pages for personal, non-commercial use only.

5. Not Financial Advice

thanetpad's courses are educational in nature. Nothing in our programmes, website, or communications constitutes personalised financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice. Course content and faculty commentary are intended to build general knowledge and analytical capability, not to recommend specific courses of action for your individual financial situation.

If you require personalised financial or legal advice, we encourage you to consult a qualified professional. We can signpost suitable professional associations in Thailand on request.

6. Participant Conduct

Our programmes bring together a small group of learners in an environment of mutual respect and confidentiality. Participants agree to:

• Engage with faculty and fellow participants in a courteous and constructive manner
• Treat information shared by other participants during group sessions as confidential
• Not record live sessions without the prior consent of all participants and faculty
• Use course materials solely for their own learning purposes

thanetpad may withdraw a participant from a programme without refund where their conduct materially disrupts the experience of others or breaches these terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Thai law, thanetpad's liability arising from your use of the website or participation in a programme is limited to the amount you have paid for the relevant programme. thanetpad is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including financial losses arising from decisions made based on course content.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

8. Third-Party Services

Our website may link to third-party resources, and we may use third-party services such as payment processors and video conferencing platforms. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. thanetpad is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party providers.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms or with a thanetpad programme that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai, Thailand.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be reflected by the revised date at the top of this page. For enrolled participants, material changes to the terms governing their current programme will be communicated directly. Continued use of the website after changes have been published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
